HELP THE ENVIRONMENT AND RECYCYLE YOUR USED INKJET CARTRIDGES

How it works

Many ink cartridges can be used more than once. The Recycling Factory  has designed processes and manufactured equipment allowing them to clean and refill used ink cartridges that are returned to them.

Any cartridges that are unusable or damaged are then broken down and the plastics and metals that are recovered are recycled – not sent to landfill.

Virtually all ink cartridges manufactured by Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, Canon and Dell can be recycled. Unfortunately, due to the technology, cartridges manufactured by Epson cannot be recycled although any returned cartridges will be broken down and the components will be recycled. 

What do I do next? 

Simply save your old inkjet cartridges. Each time you place an order from Opaljets, you will receive with your order a FREEPOST envelope in which you can send your used cartridges back for recycling. It's as easy as that!

Will recycyling really help?

It certaily will. Every year over 400 million ink and toner cartridges and mobile phones needlessly end up on landfill sites causing damage to our environment. By using the recycling envelope sent with your order you can help reduce this figure.

What else can I send to be Recycled?

Mobile Phones  can also be Recycled. Just send your old mobile phone in the FREEPOST envelope that will come with your order.  To recycyle your toner cartridges, just send us an email requesting a recycling bin. This will be delivered to you direct and collected from you for emptying. All this at no cost to you, but remember you will be helping our environment and also our chosen charity.
